Susan Dorf is known for her paintings, prints, and sketchbook drawings. Her work has been published and exhibited in the US and abroad and she has taught painting and drawing workshop in painting and art journaling in Mexico, Europe, and the US. She maintains a small press of her books called Sandia Press, where she recently published “Vistas de San Miguel,” a book of her sketches of San Miguel de Allende. Currently she resides in Michoacán, Mexico. “I have been making art for as long as can remember, and my work has always been inspired by a keen observation of my environment blended with the playfulness of my imagination. I am fascinated with nature, magic, and world cultures.
